FAQ

When and Where is Property Race Day 2026?

Property Race Day 2026 will take place on Friday, 10 July 2026 at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

What is the Property Race Day?

This annual event is known as the UK property industry’s premier day at the races – a unique occasion for industry professionals to network, enjoy top-class horse racing, and raise funds for children’s charities. In 2026, the event will be supporting LandAid, George Adamson & Tony Fitzjohn Wildlife Trust, Christina Noble Children’s Foundation & Action Through Enterprise Ghana as its beneficiary charities.

How can I attend or secure tickets/tables for the event?

You can attend through registering on our website via the application form. This opens on Friday 20th February and closes on Friday 27th March. Attendance is typically arranged through corporate table bookings or sponsor invitations. Sponsors and companies can purchase table packages (usually tables seat 10 guests in the Furlong Club hospitality marquee) by contacting the event organisers.

How does the registration and ticketing work?

Invited guests will receive an email with a secure link to confirm attendance and submit any required details (such as contact information and dietary requirements). After you complete this online form and grant permission for ticket processing, you will be issued an official digital ticket (e-ticket) via the event’s ticketing partner (Ticketmaster). The digital ticket can be downloaded to your smartphone and will serve as your entry pass on the day. Please ensure you complete any ticket confirmation forms by the stated deadline to guarantee timely ticket delivery and access. If you have questions about booking tables or tickets. enquiries@thepropertyraceday.com

Where can I enter the racecourse?

Our main entrances into the racecourse are Turnstiles East & West with our Pavilion entrance also open regularly.

Can I leave a bag/luggage in a cloakroom?

Left luggage is available in Ticket Office West at Ascot Raceday’s, subject to availability. Left luggage opens at the times of gates opening and usually closes half an hour after the last race. However, this is dependent upon any post racing entertainment that is on site.

We would advise to email enquiries@ascot.com ahead of the event and the team may be able to confirm the planned timings.

Any left luggage that is not collected after the time of closing will be transferred to our Boxholders entrance.

What is the schedule for the day?

While the exact timetable will be confirmed in the attendee information pack, you can expect a full-day programme:

  • Morning Arrival: Gates typically open in the late morning. A Champagne reception usually begins around 11:30 AM, welcoming guests as they arrive.
  • Luncheon: A formal three-course lunch is served around 12:30 PM in the hospitality marquee. Speeches or welcome announcements will accompany the lunch. (Please inform the organisers of any dietary requirements in advance to ensure suitable meals.)
  • Afternoon Racing: The horse races generally start in the early afternoon (the first race is typically around 2:00 PM) and continue through mid/late afternoon. The last race is usually around 4:50–5:00 PM. Guests will have access to exclusive viewing areas and betting facilities during this time.
  • Post-Racing Reception: After the final race, there is often a post-racing networking reception including entertainment that runs until early evening, roughly 6:00–8:00 PM, allowing guests to socialise and unwind.
  • A detailed event programme with exact timings will be shared closer to the date, but the above gives a general outline of the day’s flow.
What is included within the table for guests and sponsors?

Hospitality at Property Race Day is a key part of the experience. As a guest or sponsor, you will enjoy:

  • Reception & Dining: A welcome Champagne reception upon arrival, followed by a gourmet three-course luncheon with wine (or alternative beverages) served in the private Furlong Club marquee.
  • Exclusive Venue – Furlong Club: Guests have access to the Furlong Club, an exclusive trackside hospitality marquee. This premier enclosure offers close-up views of the racing action and a comfortable space to mingle.
  • Racing & Betting: Admission to Ascot Racecourse for the day’s racing is included. Guests can watch a full card of races from reserved viewing areas and place bets if desired. Race programmes are usually provided.
  • Networking & Entertainment: Throughout the day – from the reception through the post-race party – there are plentiful networking opportunities. Many senior leaders from the property sector attend, making this a prime event for professional networking in a relaxed setting. After the races, an evening reception/after-party with music or other entertainment is hosted, allowing guests to continue socialising in a less formal atmosphere.
  • Charity Activities: Property Race Day is a fundraising event. A highlight is the charity auction (in 2026, a Taylor Wessing Silent Auction) which typically opens online a few days before the event and concludes at the race day. Guests can bid on exclusive items and experiences via an electronic bidding system (accessible on your smartphone or on provided tablets) to support the charities. Raffle draws or other fundraising games may also occur during the event.

Overall, guests and sponsors can expect a first-class hospitality experience combining luxury dining, thrilling sporting entertainment, and meaningful charitable giving.

Is there a dress code? What should I wear to the Property Race Day?

Yes – formal race day attire is required, in line with Ascot’s dress traditions (though not as strict as Royal Ascot’s Royal Enclosure dress code). For gentlemen, a standard business/lounge suit or jacket with trousers, plus a collared shirt and tie, is appropriate. Smart chinos with a blazer and tie can also be acceptable. For ladies, elegant daywear is recommended – for example, a dress or skirt

suit appropriate for a prestigious daytime event. Many women choose to wear hats or fascinators in keeping with the racing tradition, though these are optional in our enclosure. Casual or sportswear (e.g. jeans, shorts, T-shirts, trainers) are not permitted. If exceptionally hot weather is forecast, the organisers may allow gentlemen to remove jackets or ties once inside the marquee for comfort, but you should arrive dressed in full formal attire. When in doubt, err on the side of formality – it’s a chance to dress to impress at the races. What To Wear | Ascot Racecourse
