Applications for the 2026 Property Race Day Charity Race are now open!
We’re thrilled to announce that the Property Race Day Charity Race will return to Ascot Racecourse on Friday 10th July 2026. This is a rare and exhilarating opportunity to ride at one of the world’s most iconic racing venues – an experience that only a select few ever get to enjoy.
Applications will be reviewed and places allocated based on eligibility and suitability. A maximum of 12 riders will be invited to take part in the race.
To qualify, riders must either:
- Hold a current amateur jockey license, or
- Attend and pass a one-day assessment course at either the British Racing School (Newmarket) or the Northern Racing College (Doncaster). The assessment day is physically demanding but consistently described by past participants as a rewarding and unforgettable experience.
Each rider must:
- Secure their own horse, which must be in training with a licensed trainer under the Rules of Racing.
- Raise a minimum of £5,000 for our chosen charities.
Please note: Riders are responsible for covering the cost of their own equipment and travel during training and preparation. If you foresee this as a barrier to entry, please let us know in the ‘Additional information’ section of the application form.
The deadline to submit your application is Friday 23rd January 2026.
Successful applicants will be informed by Friday 13th February 2026.
Applications are now submitted via an the online form below. If you have any questions, please get in touch with either:
